Gaviota Coast Volunteer Training

You are invited to the Gaviota Coast Conservancy's Gaviota Coast Volunteer Training!

Date: Monday, June 17th
Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Location: The Sandbox, 414 Olive Street (street parking only)

Learn about the Gaviota Coast's past, present, and future from some of our most active and long-time Gaviota Coast activists. By the end of this training you’ll be able to speak confidently about the Gaviota Coast’s history, the biodiversity found on the coast, and the threats we face and opportunities for protection. You’ll also learn about the many opportunities we have for volunteers to interact with the community and spread the word about the coast.

Training will cover:

What is the Gaviota
Coast?
History of the Gaviota Coast
Biodiversity of the Gaviota Coast
Threats and Opportunities: Past, Present, & Future
Opportunities for Volunteers

If you can't make it to this event keep an eye on our volunteer website gaviotacoastvolunteers.org for upcoming events. We'd love to see you at the events that interest you!
